How to access YouTube from restricted countries like Turkiye

In some countries including Turkey (T�rkiye) which is one of them, access to YouTube is restricted.
But by small configurations to reach YouTube is still possible.
I believe there is a lot of ways to connect youtube.com

But governments thinks it is the easiest way to cencor things that they do not want to keep them out of scope.
Sometimes videos and movies published in YouTube causes the anger of peoples and are not polite to the sensibility of them.

In order to access YouTube you can follow the following steps:

Open Notepad
select "File" then "Open" from menu
Select "All Files" from "Files of type" combobox
Browse folder : "C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc" (WINNT or WINDOWS according to your system)



Open file "hosts" file using the NotePad.exe Windows tool



Add the following two entries to the end of the hosts file.
208.117.236.69 youtube.com
208.117.236.69 www.youtube.com



Save "hosts" file and exit.

Now you are ready to access and connect to the youtube.com
