The previous installation was the same OS, Windows Vista RC1 Ultimate Edition. But it was 32 bit version. I just installed the 64 bit version of Vista RC1 and the overall performance has raised from 2.8 to 4.0

The performance of the hard disk has been improved to 5.2 in 64 bit installation (X64) from 2.8 in 32 bit installation (X86)
