    System.FormatException: Invalid length for a Base-64 char array.

    Hello,

    I'm getting the following error exception message in an ASP.NET web application.

    System.FormatException: Invalid length for a Base-64 char array.
    at System.Convert.FromBase64String(String s)
    at System.Web.UI.LosFormatter.Deserialize(String input)
    at System.Web.UI.Page.LoadPageStateFromPersistenceMedium()

    I found some where on the web saying that the error is because of the high number of controls on a web page with ViewState Enabled.
    Because of the big size of viewstate this error occurs. Is this correct?

    In an other web site, it was adviced to URLEncode the viewstate value. What do you think?

    Thanks
