SAP Forum 2009 Istanbul, Turkey has been held

Hello all IT professional working on SAP systems,

Recently SAP has organized the SAP event "SAP Forum 09" in Istanbul Turkey.

On Friday 16th of October, beginning from early hours in the morning many parallel session have been held by SAP, by SAP customers and SAP Consulting companies.

I'd like to give more detail on the SAP Forum 2009 İstanbul, but right now I just want to share the sessions I've attended with you.

In the morning my first selection was the TPM system customer success story by Eczacıbaşı Girişim : SAP CRM Trade and Promotions Management

In the following section, since I'm a good Microsoft SQL Server supporter, I choosed the IBM DB2 Optimized for SAP section in order to compare DB2 with SQL Server 2008. The section held by IBM Turk was very interesting for me.

After lunch I preferred to attend the SAP CRM topic which is again a customer success story. This time AKBANK representatives talked about the Complaint Management System in their bank they have been working on using the SAP CRM.

The following section which I attended was held by BTC Ekonum. And what was surprising for me was the presenter of the session was a friend of mine in high school. I appretiate her for her career and her work on SAP consulting sector. She experienced the audience a very well session on SAP NetWeaver and enterprise portals.

I ended the day in SAP Forum 09 after the session DUET which is a product developed and being supported by both Microsoft and SAP. Actually I get dissappointed when I heard not any company is using the DUET in Turkey yet. For example, in my company a group of developers are developing solutions on Microsoft Outlook, MS Exchange and SAP systems. Unfortunately they are not using the DUET from SAP & Microsoft.

OK, that is all for today.
I'll like to give more information about SAP Forum 09 Istanbul if you have any questions that I can answer.
