Since I had a new installed laptop I had not fully finished installation of all the software that I might require somehow.
Yesterday I placed a DVD movie August Rush to the DVD reader but I could not play and watch the DVD movie file with the existing media player software programs on my computer.
Neither of the Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic or the QuickTime Player media software were not able to play the .vob file format video file.
So I made some search and find out that the VLC media player for Windows can successfully play and open the .vob movie files. Actually any DVD player like Power DVD can also open the VOB files.
